The VIBRE! festival moves away from the banks of the Garonne and offers a selection of its programme in the majestic cathedral of Bazas.

The promising Quatuor Mona presents three stages in the history of the string quartet: the founding experiments of Mozart, master of the classical style (Quartet K. 387), the romantic torments of Mendelssohn (Quartet op. 13) and the opening up to modernity practiced by Ravel in his one and only work for four bows

Programme

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Quartet n° 14 K. 387
Maurice Ravel, Strings Quartet
Felix Mendelssohn, Quartet op. 13
